Has it been slow this week as well? I know we haven't called our messengers at all this week--normally they'd have tromped through here a dozen times by now.

vocab question: what does "on the longboard" mean?
I'm pretty sure that means he's doing long-haul deliveries all over town, rather than the more conventional downtown stuff.
The ticket was for running a red light.
Longboard means riding out towards the end of SF.
